Hmmm, yea. Yahoo may have attacks it is vulnerable to, but asfor "hacking into her account" Bullshit. The only time I've EVER heard of someone able to "haxxor hotmail accounts" was when Microsoft had a huge problem and there was a page where you could actually grab passwords for any hotmail account. I remember seeing so many programs that claimed to hack internet mail accounts it's not even funny. Guess how many work? Now if only the kids would learn you don't hack web based email accounts the way they think.
A month, or so ago, I mentioned on this list that I had a hack on Yahoo using gaim. I contacted the gaim security people and their opinion was that Yahoo is vulernable, not the clients we are using. I have also seen a couple of attacks where buddy lists have been taken and messages sent to.
I have a screen shot of me changing my cousin's AIM account profile to be a link to goatse.
I think Yahoo has some serious security issues.
