Thank you very much. Now, it worked. But it is a terrible feeling because I really do not understand what has made my computer feed my emails now. What I did was I installed cyrus-sasl2-gssapi-2.1.12-31 cyrus-imapd-2.1.12-29 cyrus-sasl2-2.1.12-31 And tried to distinguish between Cyrus and UW-IMAP. I expected that yast2 installer would not allow both packages coexisting. Surprisingly, it showed no conflict. Anyway, I started "cyrus" from the yast2-profile manager not actually knowing what is going to be done on UW-IMAPs. The name "cyrus" does not strike me as an imap controller. Then, mozilla-mail suddenly asked me to verify certification. What is it? I did not want this crap. Does it mean that I cannot check my email when I am diconnnected from the net? What the hell is it? Why is it more complicated every day? Does SuSE really want their Linux distribution to be everyone's choice (such people like your in-laws)? Regards, G. H. Song
