On an offchance, I just tried to go direct to the .de site and had no problems, then tried again first to the usa site, then change to .de site, NO GO.
Hope this helps someone but it looks like something is down between the usa and .de sites.

I can get to USA site ok from Australia but the .de site is down / unreachable according to my tracker. maybe the problem is with the link between them?
