Hi, I received a post to this list some time ago that showed the various release dates for 13.2 milestone X, and I think that Milestone 1 was supposed to be released in June or July. I think that it has been slipped to sometime later now, but can't find the calendar of release dates anymore.
Where does the calendar of release dates for different milestones live now, and when will Milestone 1 be released?
openSUSE factory development has just completed an overhaul and the process is not yet smoothed out, but "milestones" are likely a thing of the past. http://markmail.org/message/5hvxh4q2baiz7ldw Also see http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap Basically all of the spring / summer milestones have been replaced with "daily" snapshots. The term "daily" snapshot is misleading. Snapshots are indeed routinely created, but then they are subjected to internal QA. If they pass, they get pushed to the public as a "daily" snapshot. If not, the previous snapshot is left in place. Sometimes snapshots come out daily, sometimes not. Factory just concluded a 3-week dry spell with no new snapshots. When one was finally released it had some significant issues immediately, but those are supposedly going to be rapidly addressed. read this thread: http://markmail.org/message/se7uay7spcz2hqm2 Watch the factory the mailing list for the next week or so and see if a better snapshot is released. You can treat that as a milestone if you want since a good snapshot is as good as it will get in the near future. I "assume" we will still get beta's and RCs, but I'm not sure.
