Opera 8.5 - free and without ads - is now available. I have not installed the previous Linux version (7.54) using YaST, but I would like to try 8.5, so I downloaded the package for SuSE:
opera-8.50-20050916.5-shared-qt.i386-en.rpm
Where and how should I install it? When I try, I get an error message saying that there is no application associated with the file type (i.e. rpm). I could use YaST to install the old version but I don't see how to use it to install the new version.
TIA Kelly
