hi all, today i ran into a strange problem : after defining ip alias adresses with "ifconfig eth1:0 aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd" for ca 30 aliases, some of them can not be reached from outside the network (the machine is connected to the net, we have a complete class c network, the ip adresses are definitly not used by something other..) from the internal network, all of them can be reached ..... there is no special pattern in the "refused" ip adresses, and ifconfig shows them up also .... has anyone a clue what might cause this ???? the ip numbers are also not blocked in any form to acess from outside on the router. this one is really weird.... banging my head and cant get all of my virtual domains working.....;( greets, chris -- visit me at http://mamalala.de
