Hi again,
O.k., I'm looking at some lite windows managers and trying to choose. But, in the meantime, is there a quick way to remove KDE then?
Also, when looking for downloads, how do I choose the right one?
i386, rpm, ?????
TIA t.
use yast. from the console and as root type yast. then go to package management, select option 3, change config, the remove all the packages in the kde group. You will need to put a SuSE cd in for this. Check the window manager group and there should be a version of Enlightenment there.

I would not recommend removing KDE. I have it installed, yet I use icewm. This gives me the freedom of using some of the KDE tools (konqueror, kcalc) without the burden of KDE and kdewm. Just another option . . . George
