Something is wrong with my Netscape installation. Whenever I boot Netscape I get over 100 entries in the XMessage box that say:
/opt/netscape/netscape: can't resolve symbol 'PR_ExitMonitor'
And on and on, with over 100 of the "can't resolve" entries.
Also whenever I access a web site that has sound, it will terminate the browser.
Any suggestions? (I've reinstalled it twice now.)
Thanks in advance.
Did you set the MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape environment variable?
In your .bashrc put "export MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape"; that solves alot of problems.

Which .bashrc ? I found five of them when I did a $ locate .bashrc
Also do I put the quotation marks around the
export MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape
and the semi colon at the end?
I found other "export entries in .bashrc that didn't have the " " and the ;
Just wondering, and trying to do it right.
Thanks again,

look for the .bashrc in your home directory, that is the one that you will want to add it to, also, nope, you don't need to put the quotes around it or the semi colon at the end (unless you put more than one command on the same line:-) cya l8r Leon McClatchey leonmcclatchey@homemail.com -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
