Am I the only one having problems with mounting a usb zip drive ?
Trying to mount a usb zip drive on a 10.1 install. The drive shows up in Konqueror>media:/sde But if I try to open it I get this popup message
Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist
My external usb hard drive mounts as media:/sde but with the zip connected instead lshal does not show an sde
I have 2 of these drives and they both fail to get mounted so it's not the drive.
Clues please
Dave Works fine if I us Konqueror in superuser mode.
So that begs the question how do I allow normal users to access the drive.
ls -l /media permissions or groups which root can access but the user is not a member. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/
