I was stubborn, and wanted to understand enough to make it work with SuSE, instead. He said he admired my tenacity, if not my good sense... and then he'd tell me again how Red Hat just "worked right out of the box" for whatever was ailing me at the time.
yeah, that's what a reletive always said about "Macs" as well... of course he also said they didn't need a ( fill in some bit of hardware that the home computer wouldn't run at all w/o ) because it "is a Mac" He also claims to be some sort of "Macintosh" guru... but I dunno about that ... <g> No , He is unlikely to use OS-X , unless soemone gave it to him .. and even then he'd be unaware that even a lowely pc can run unix/linux His actual computer knowledge is , um limited I'd say... but then, I don't use a "Mac" -- j afterthought: Open mouth, insert foot, echo internationally.
