Hi:
I uninstalled the SuSE broken Mozilla package (8.1).
Then I installed the vanilla one from Mozilla.org. (Why the heck did Suse bother to break it in the first place, I dunno...)
When I switched my printer subsystem from LPRng to CUPS, the darned Yast reinstalled SuSE's Mozilla on top of mine, breaking everything. I had to do the Mozilla install all over again.
How can this be fixed?
I am wondering this also because I am considering playing with Mplayer, which I hear SuSE has also crippled or done something goofy to it, so I want to try a vanilla one.
Thanks for comments.

Just curious but what problems did you have with the Suse MOzilla rpm? Mplayer doesn't include the windows codecs for license reasons I think. I think all you have to do is copy them to like /usr/lib/win32 ? Someone correct me on that if I'm wrong.
