Precisely. It is the same economic difference bas exists for unsolicited mail between physical mail, the cost of the letter, printing, paper, envelope, stuffing and postage, >$1, probably >$2, vs e-mail, asymptotic zero per 100,000.
The cost of TLS is a pull-down option in configuration.
Not to be too picky, but it's not quite that easy. For the interface between the mail user and the first MTA possibly, but that's not enough. If you're running a server, you will have the additional cost of a certificate. Making sure exchanging mails with other servers only happens using TLS requires a few more clicks too. Probably some typing too, but I don't know how much YaST does for you. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.9°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
