Ok on the usb_modeswitch will have to try that the one thing that i found somewhat confusing is i also have an 3 Dongle now that works fine using utmsmon connects up everything fine but coverage on Three is rubbish , i find it somewhat strange that one will work and the other one will not they both have a drive section that contains the drivers for windows yet the Three one works confusing too say the least very similar chipset as well the Three is an E220 the Vodafone is an E620
