Anyone have some tips on debugging Firefox crashes. Seg faults at random times and actions (I think). Tried most things, need now to trace the crashes - where do I start?
No better answer yet so here're my suggestions. Worth at least what you paid for them:
(1) take out all plugins/addons etc (2) always start it from a terminal so you can see any output (3) there's starting in safe mode and there's turning on logging. Sorry I forget how now. Look on the mozilla/firefox site (4) firebug is good if the problem is with particular pages

Thanks, tried all that (except firebug) - running in debug from terminal just kicks out Seg Fault. Seems to happen more often when opening FF after a crash and a lot of pages gets loaded at once.

Sounds like you may have picked up a bad web page. In /home/<login_name>/.mozilla/default/ you will find Cache. Either clean it out or simply delete it (it will get recreated when you restart FF).
