That is not very clear, as the last people there are recommending the 
removal of icewm* packages. I don't remember which is the "failsafe" 
desktop, but it could be precisely this icewm (it would explain why 
people that don't use it have it). Then such removal would be baaad thing™

I would instead not install the patch till the bug is solved.
