I didn't change any *config* setting also. Sometimes changes happen indirectly, for example an automatic update might bring in a new library, a new kernel or kernel module.
Scary, isn't it, but this is what we get when we try making things 'user friendly' to deal with 'dumb users' such as those who migrate from other operating systems that work on the basis of 'learned disability' and where you *have* to update of get s****ed because the bugs allow the Back hate to hijack your machine for their botnet.

It's your rant, and your entitled to your rant. However, I kind of take exception. I'm one of those "dumb users" and have been for about 14 years. And, yes I consider myself a "dumb user". I'm still learning every day. I like "user friendly". It allows me to run Linux rather than that other OS. There's nothing wrong with being a "dumb user" using a "user friendly" OS. -- Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine _ _... ..._ _ _._ ._ ..... ._.. ... .._ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
