I'll look into when I unpack my stuff in L.A. I have five weeks left in my current house in Hawaii.

The smart decision would be to get a xDSL line in Los Angeles not a cable modem. All of Southern California is DSL ready (assuming you live close enough to the CO). DSL prices here are very low and will drop further after January because of a recent ruling against the Telcos by the FCC - they can't impose local loop charges for DSL lines anymore. Check with PacBell or GTE (depending where you'll be living). If you want a commercial DSL line contact Covad, Northpoint, or Rythms. You can use this website to see how far you are from your CO. http://www.2wire.com/dsllookup/finddsl79.asp Mario -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
