System Bell problem after V9.2 - V9.3 upgrade

      I feel pretty stupid posting this but I'm stuck!

I did an upgrade from V9.2 to V9.3 and it worked like a dream (to my surprise 
after some of the horror stories around here!). However, whenever a new mail 
arrives on KMail the System Bell beeps and I cannot figure out how to stop 
it. If I enable sound notification I get my chosen sound PLUS the System 
Bell!!

Any ideas.
