Check out Mysql Workbench (http://dev.mysql.com/workbench/). It's still in beta but it's a good beta. (Disclaimer: I'm not a dba either.)

Check for package mysql-gui-tools on download.opensuse.org.
It contains mysql-admin, mysql-query-browser, and ... mysql-workbenck
I have that installed - but there's no query browser or workbench that I can see. How do I run them? OT - i wish the RPM database showed what the executable(s) for an application or package was. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
