Yes, a cold reboot works fine. I thought maybe Windows was not doing something it should. If so, does anyone know how to fix that? JT ------------------------------------------------------------------- saw this problem once with a 3Com 905Tx card with dual boot win95 and linux. Linux required cold boot of NIC before it would work. Easy to see as the detection phase would show a MAC ID of FF:FF:FF....etc. Remember reading somewhere it was something to do with Windows not properly resetting the Plug and Play part on the PCI Bus!?
