Good day,
I know this may not be the place, but I have found Slashdot to be one of the worst places of information or news for anyone. Especially for Linux newbies...
Unfortuantly I see a lot of mis-information or mis-understanding on there.
My question is:
What do people use for news concerning Tech news that is accurate? I know I use newsforge and linuxtoday, is there anymore?
Matt
I think you've hit the top two. I browse SlashDot for the science stories. Reading the comments is an exercise is wadding through the sewers. The signal/noise ration is extremely low. SlashDot will have to begin moderating their site or risk losing their image. It's already tarnished. jlk -- Scientific theories, according to Sir Karl Popper, can be "falsified," or proven wrong, by experiment. Unscientific theories -Marxist dialectical history and Freudian psychology were Popper's favorites- are formed in such a way that they cannot be falsified by data.
