All openSUSE lists (only a few exceptions) are subscribers only. We've tried last year for a couple of months to allow non-subscriber posts but simply couldn't catch all the spam as the content we receive is simply too diverse. In the end we've switched back. If you're not a subscriber the list will tell you to subscribe first, then post.
