I installed 11.0 on my desktop computer last evening, and have been wondering if people have found an rpm for skype for 11.0.
The SUSE 10+ one from skype.com works fine for me.
Same here. I had no issues installing and running the one from skype.com meant for SUSE 10. It immediately recognized my Logitech cam and I've since not had any issues using it. I use 11.0 and kde4 and trying to install skype but get these depencies: error: Failed dependencies: libQtCore.so.4 is needed by skype-2.0.0.72-suse.i586 libQtDBus.so.4 is needed by skype-2.0.0.72-suse.i586 libQtGui.so.4 is needed by skype-2.0.0.72-suse.i586 libQtNetwork.so.4 is needed by skype-2.0.0.72-suse.i586 What packages did you guys add to get skype to install?
According to my install on 10.3, libqt4 and libqt4-dbus. Probably the same on 11.0. Jim -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
