For the past week I have been getting these very same messages when running zypper on 12.1:
** ERROR 1 ** (http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:/packages/openSUSE_12.1/)
Retrieving repository 'openSUSE BuildService - Java:packages' metadata [|] File 'repomd.xml' from repository 'openSUSE BuildService - Java:packages' is signed with an unknown key 'F7B4039CC2C0E8D4'. Continue? [yes/no] (no): yes
Yes, I have this problem with the Java:packages repo. But this is not 12.1 specific, it is across all build targets.
I think I saw a comment on another list that the Jave Repo key had expired. That likely caused the above. And if it's working now, someone must have extended the key. If you have other repos with the issue, you might need to open a bugzilla, or try to find a maintainer and just send them an email directly.
