Hello kernel/C guru's Here is my problem again. The messages was lost, I guess ;) I try to build a kernel (didn't matter what kernel) on my brand new 486 DX2 machine, but I can't get it running. After I configure the options, with "make config", and made the dependencies with make dep, I'am ready to build the kernel ( I think) I type "make bzImage" The compilor is beginning to compile the kernel, an after a wile (randomize) there apears a fatal message on the screen. "Internal Compilor error, caugt deathly signal 11, pipe closed" After that I try to compile the kernel again, with the same command, and it goes compiling where it prevously stoped. And again afer a while there will be another internal compilore message. I even tried it on a RedHad machine, with a different gcc, and again there was a internal compilor message. Can anybody give me a clue?
