This way I got a working graphics session again and could resume my project. Every application runs fine but CrossOver and JGR (GUI for R statistical package). The first time my monitor got messed up I reinstalled SuSE 10.3 from scratch losing my last week's project work. Then I had to reinstall every applications.

Which version are you having problems with? I had 5.3 standard installed before upgrading to 6.2 pro. Didn't seem to have a problem with either.
I have got CrossOver 6.2 PRO after replacing SuSE 9.3 with 10.3. I swear it worked just fine until the malicious patch was installed.
Also, which graphics card do you have?
