Soon yast will cease to exist, and there will be no more reason to choose openSUSE.
Did you see an announcement that openSUSE is getting a completely new installer? When will this happen? How soon is soon? YaST *is* openSUSE's installer.
Nononono. There is nothing of the sort. The only thing I know is that this is not the first module to go. Some other module went out not long ago, I forget which. Maybe YaST network, in favour of Network manager? And each time a module goes, it is like a nail in me. There is work in some other variant of yast, I don't remember which because I have not tested it. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.4 x86_64 at Telcontar)
