Check out the cable modem FAQ and do some digging on dejanews, freshmeat, etc. I just got Road Runner, found out about rrdhcpd and rrlogind, downloaded the package, configured with rrconf, started rrdhcpd and rrlogind and was high speed surfing in about 15 minutes. Hopefully, @Home will be just as easy for you. At 11:54 PM 7/7/99 -0400, JHammer609@aol.com wrote:
I am getting @Home installed next Monday. I am ignorant of the issues around installing this service and cable modems. If anyone has @Home and has some info I should know before the technicians arrive, I would appreciate hearing it.
