As I said - I just followed the instructions from: http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/ and - as far as SUSE goes, in YAST2 I unchecked the PCMCIA option, and listed orinoco_cs in the modules line (in the hardware options of the network basic setup). And, by the way - whatever change they made in SUSE 8.0 for the YAST2 hardware option sucks - I used to be able to edit the hardware options up until 7.3 - oh, well, in 8.0 that option dissapeared - now I have to delete the NICs, and recreate them, every time I want to change the drivers/modules ... :(
Hi Stefan (and other mailinglist posters), this was your answer to my posting about how you got the MA401 up and running. I have had to spend my energies on other things lately, but now I have my MA401 working with orinoco_cs. However, I have looked over the explanations written by amongst others mr. Tourrilhes, and despite of this I have a very hard time working out how to get encryption working. It works under MS win2k. If you (or anybody else) have got the spare time, could you please give me some hints on how to grab the settings from win2k and put them into the Linux setup? Thanks in advance.
