I have 2 questions.
One ==== I trying to stay with configuring only through YAST. But it doesn't always seems to be convenient.
For example, I wanted to change the configurations in the dynamic linker
configuration file (ld.so.conf). I could not do it through YAST, so I did it manually. Nexttime when I run SuSEConfig or YAST, I get messages like
"/etc/ld.so.conf has been modified. Leaving it untouched."
Should I be concerned about such messages from YAST?

Only knowing the answer to Question 1. No. You don't have to worry about the messages other than if you choose to further modify the file, you need to remember to manually edit. I edit most of my config files by hand also. -Dee ---------------------------------- W.D.McKinney (Dee) deem@wdm.com No Claim to Fame, Saved by Grace ---------------------------------- - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
