I don't think that will work. Both OpenSuse 12.2 and Ubuntu 10.04 work with Grub2 Sorry yes
You can repair openSUSE grub this way http://forums.opensuse.org/content/128-re-install-grub2-dvd-rescue.html
Hi,
Thanks all for your responses, I know what to do this weekend ;-)

Hi Koenraad I doubt whether the hobbyists here will agree, but I believe that the most important issue here is the weekend. If you need both OS's then you could install whichever one you want to dual boot with on VirtualBox whilst you are at work. That will give you a 2 day weekend:) You can always rsync it back when you've got grub2 sorted. The other alternative is to run your chosen OS from a USB memory stick. That way you bypass the need for having a hard disk. TGIF. L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
