Well using Google to look up EQT is very helpful. Their website is reasonably informative about the company. You can find out for example that EQT established a new fund this year (2018) called EQT VIII.
For what it's worth -- I wasted some time trying to find out -- the "VIII" just means 8. It's EQT AB's fund number 8. So no, SUSE isn't owned by EQT VIII -- it's owned by EQT, but the money came from EQT's fund № 8. EQT is backed by the Wallenberg group: https://www.wallenberg.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wallenberg_family -- Liam Proven - Technical Writer, SUSE Linux s.r.o.
