Hi Chuck, You mean the cut and paste facility in components like konsoles, xterms etc? I had the same problem. Do you have a two button mouse? After highlighting the text to be copied then pressing both mouse buttons at the destination the text is not copied, right? I did the following to fix this: Log in to KDE as root YAST menu -> Sax2 (Sax for XFree86 version 4) Select the radio button : "import file: /etc/X11/F86Config" (if it is available otherwise you will have to set your devices again) Select custom install Click on next Under the mouse settings window, choose the Expert tab For setting "Emulate 3 buttons" select the yes radio button Click next Keep clicking 'next' to move through the other areas of sax setup. If you used your existing F86Config then you should not have to change anything (I just check the values to be on the safe side) When sax has finished, logout as root. Restart the window manager (use the kdm shutdown menu or hit [ctrl] [alt] [backspace] simulataneously on your keyboard. When KDE restarts you should be able to log back in as a regular or root user and have mouse copy and paste working. Anyway, it worked for me :-) regards Garry Chuck Carson wrote:
I just reinstalled my 7.0 box, and this time cut and paste is not working, although nothing is different from my initial install.
Any ideas?
