I think this is the right way, you just happened to trigger a bug in ZMD.
Does the "rug up" error persist?
Well it did, but then ...
Can you wait for some time before doing the "rug up" ?
I waited a long time and ran 'rug ca' again. It said 'Waiting for ZMD to wake up ...' and then the next time I ran 'rug up -y' it started updating packages. So it was some state in the zmd backend then? Is there a way to force this zmd restart when I run it in a post-init script from autoyast? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
