Hello, I just got a Thinkpad T60p widescreen. I managed to install the ATI driver from the repository provided, and basic use is OK at 160x1050. However, several apps have a problem displaying correct pictures, the three I have identified so far are ksquirrel, Google Earth and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I googled a lot about this, but what I found is a little confusing. what I got out of all this is that the current ATI drivers suck, probably when an application requires some features of OpenGL. Anyone has more precise information, is there any tuning possible or, as I just read, "wait for another ten years and hope that ATI gets it working"? Note that the Windows drivers seem to work... but that's not really a satisfaction :( Thierry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
