I'm trying to upgrade Smart and keep getting the following error:
Trying to import the key af734c5a58857177 from subkeys.pgp.net... error: smart-0.42-14.guru.suse100.i686.rpm: public key not available
Perhaps Suse-guru is on this list and can fix the error. I currently have version smart-0.42-5.guru.suse100 installed.
Yes, that's me ;) That key fetching comes from an "unofficial" patch by Andrea Arcangeli and Christoph Thiel (unofficial because it's not merged upstream (yet?)). There seems to be an issue with RPM < 4.4 regarding the approach used in the patch, we had some comments from Jeff Johnson about it on the smart list. As of now, unfortunately, the best approach is to turn it off: smart config --set rpm-check-signatures=false It works well on 10.1 btw. - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFP8L6r3NMWliFcXcRAo2lAJ9a7inm/+FSCzcsTBLXolRmLI9VZgCfcZGw +rNRlC8fyWSXFUR/q/Bokg8= =FwKc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
