Well I've already e-mailed the original author to clarify what is permitted, as there is no license mentioned or in the archive. I'd like to re-use, but if he doesn't respond, I can't just rip off his work. This means I have to come up with my own code, which makes the job much bigger. Although there are advantages to a wholly new design, in that I have a better understanding of the design, and how it all hangs together.
