I purchased 4-memory sticks today and tried them all out on both 10.1 and 10.2 everything reads and works well. They automatically detected. To reformat one you will have decide what filesystedm you wish.
I think he's asking about what application to use. This IS a problem in Linux, as there's no GUI app. that I know of.
