Hi, I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to setup Ethernet on my laptop. It's a Compaq Evo N600c. It as a Intel Pro/100 built-in controller with a 82557 chip set. Installed Suse Pro 7.3 but when going to setup network it doesn't work. The machine is connected to a Linksys DSL Router where it should get an IP address by DHCP (which is working on a Windows XP on this same machine and on another Powerbook G3/400 that I have with Mac OS X 10.1.2). For what I've searched on the Web in Linux I should be using the eepro100.o module (I think it's called like this). When I go to /lib/modules/kernel_version/net I don't see there nothing. Can someone tell what rpm in the SuSE install disks should this module be in ? And step by step instructions to install and configure this module to work with Linksys router. Without any network connection I will not be able to do much on the SuSE side of the machine Thanks ./ luis oliveira
