How do I get back my interent connection though. on the boot i get eth0 ... failed Can anynone help me with that one?
I don't know if it can help you, but I got the same experience. At boot, not only my eth0 failed but I got a segmentation fault. It was due to agpgart, I tried to disable agp in the kernel configuration, as well as drm which is not necessary with nvidia, and I got gabk my eth0. Then, in XF86Config set the option "nvagp" "1" and you'll use nvidia builtin agp. It works great. If you want to check 3D, as user in a console type: glxinfo you should see : Direct rendering enebled. Michel
I found in Yast under Network card/Drivers/modules active: NO modprobe: Yes
how do I make module active again?
Thanks for the help, Wojtek

Hi,
Yesterday I installed nvdia driver in 9.0 and lost internet connection.
Now the driver although installed does not seem to be working - can't turn on 3D support in Sax2, and my internet connection (DSL-Telus) is broken.
There is no need to turn on 3D on Sax2, it's on. Benchmark it with glxgears.
