Thanks to all responded to the DVD software.
Now for the long shots,
1) As most of us know, we still need windows for tax software. Any one heard of Linux versions ? (US)
No, but I've heard that people are using Wine+Turbotax
2) Being in the piano servicing business, I'm looking for Linux versions of tuning and CRM software. (Currently using (windows) Cybertuner and (linux) Quasar Accounting and flat files for records and history)
Also you can try Wine + windows application again. Wine is much better now. See compatibility list at http://appdb.winehq.org/ http://appdb.winehq.org/appbrowse.php Category for financial software http://appdb.winehq.org/appbrowse.php?iCatId=63
3) My cousins run a retail hardware store and I am looking for a linux based POS system specifically designed for the retail hardware industry or easily customizable for this industry. (Their currently using a UNIX based package and the company is converting it to be windows based)
