Hi all, I have been running SuSE Linux 10.0 for a year or so and decided to install a fresh install of SuSE Linux 10.1. I have a USB hard drive that I use to to backups and store other files on which when I plugged it in on 10.0, I could read and write to just fine as my normal user. The drive has a label so it automatically gets mounted under /media/<label> when I plug it in. Now that I have installed 10.1, I plug the same drive in and it still gets mounted in the same place but it is read-only for normal users. How do I change this behavior back to the other way? This does not get mounted using an entry in /etc/fstab so the settings for mounting USB media automatically must be somewhere else and they must be different than they were in 10.0. Any ideas? Thanks. -- Marc Christensen http://blog.mecworks.com
