I was reading the documentation on performance tuning, and did not see any mention of how the processor clock speed is changed, and if there is any way aside from rebuilding the kernel to adjust the default policy. I would prefer the processor to use a higher clock speed when the system gets busy. I tried adjusting the: /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor but was not satisfied with my results.
