Hello,
in order to use systemd for suspending I deleted the packages pm-utils and suspend. With removing suspend, plymouth was removed as well.
I wonder why does plymouth need suspend!?
I wonder about that as well. I removed plymouth, and parts of it (libply2, libply-splash-core2, and libply-boot-client) forced removal of package suspend, causing hibernate to fail silently. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
