I'm trying to change my list subscription to 'nomail' as I generally read and post to most mailing lists via gmane.org as a nntp-mail gateway. On many mailing lists I can go to a web page for subscribers and change my delivery options there; for this list it appears I have to do this by sending commands to the mailing list software. That'd be fine... if it worked.
I tried sending a mail to 'opensuse+subscribe-nomail@opensuse.org', but I just get a message back saying I'm already subscribed. Okay, fair enough. So I send a message to 'opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org', and responded to the verification email. Yay.
opensuse+COMMAND is not the same as opensuse+COMMAND-nomail. So you mix subscribing and unsubscribing from two different "lists". But you have achieved what you need/want. You are now unsubscribed from the general list and apparently you where already subscribed to the nomail version. So everything is fine. Next time you should ask these questions not on this list but simply send a mail to the owner (opensuse+owner@opensuse.org). Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, openSUSE. Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
