Okay. You guys are killin' me! (I originally posted the "stop bashing Microsoft" post.) When you give an example of how Microsoft fails to perform in a given situation, AND give an example how Linux solves the problem, that is not bashing!!! Bashing is unmitigated abuse. It's the act of bad mouthing something without explaining. Granted, it's FUN! That's what I meant... So, SO is a memory hog? Is Applix less so? I've heard Applix is less polished, but more stable and efficient. It gets the job done. Also, I hope SuSE 6.0 will benefit from RH's nightmare with glibc. Have a good day!
