I just added another IDE HD to one of my systems.
It has MacOS9 on it, but I don't care and want to erase it and make it a ext2 drive. I assume this drive would be hdc1 How do I target the new drive for mkfs?
First "fdisk /dev/hdc", and if it's just to be 1 partition, just make 1 primary partition, /dev/hdc1. Then "mke2fs /dev/hdc1"
