SUSE 9.0 Release Date

Anyone have any idea when the next release is due, trying to determine if it's worth it to upgrade to 8.2(from 8.0) at this point...I tend to doubt it as I don't REALLY need it yet.. The main thing I am after is the 1.4 ver of JRE..but would like to avoid the dependency hell of trying to make the JRE work in 8.0..seems I recall there were some gcc compatability issues in 8.2 upon its first release... seems I also recall from this list the x.0 releases are a bit better than the x.xx releases..
