but apropos displays possibilities rather than the man page itself.
Oddball, try "man script" for an explanation of this process. Script is started in (and runs only in) a terminal which you have logged into. It will send any subsequent output going to that terminal to a file you specify. "script ~/Documents/Copy_from_terminal_X" will copy anything displayed on the terminal screen after running script to the file shown. It WILL NOT copy anything on the screen prior to running "script". Append is one of the correct arguments for script.
