good day all ... a couple of questions: first, it seems that most of the emails in the suse-linux email archive are in german. i enter the archive from www.suse.com and select the appropriate north american web server. but while browsing the archive, it ends up many of the archived emails are in german. is there a specific english archive? now, the real question and the reason i was browing the archive. i'm trying to install accelerated x onto a laptop and i'm running into a bash/sh problem. all the install scripts are sh scripts and they all give permission denied errors when run from bash. now it seems that sh is symlinked to bash and is roots shell. i'm running suse 5.2 and accel-x is version 4.1. i'm not a bash user normally, is there a way to force bash to execute these scripts? the scripts are all mode 555. -- -- m -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
